Elevated Spirit of the Holidays

With the holiday upon us, it's time to start thinking about holiday cocktail recipes!! Mike and I are usually the go-to bartenders during our family gatherings and the expectation is that every party and holiday has it's own original cocktail. That's a lot of cocktails!! I'm always looking for new flavors to incorporate into my recipes. For Thanksgiving, we're doing Spiced Ginger Pear Mules! I can't wait!  ;P

I am going to use the most elevated vodka I know, Purity Vodka, to be the base of most of those holiday cocktails. It was just voted "Best Vodka at the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge and has been named "Vodka of the Year" seven consecutive years by The Spirits Business. It's distilled 34 times (which is a ridiculous number. Most vodkas are distilled 5 times or less), giving it an incredibly smooth taste. I'm sipping it here with just plain soda, because you can't go wrong with a classic and it's so easy to make and drink! Who wants to join me??

This season, Purity Vodka joined forces with Orrefors, a Scandinavian brand thats been making beautiful barware since 1898. Isn't this glass beautiful? It totally matches the Purity bottle and there's nothing better than cut crystal! It's the perfect size for one of those large square ice cubes (another current obsession of mine). The full set just elevates your entire bar cart. Makes you look real fancy.
