I always sum up my style as classic silhouettes with interesting details. I want pieces that are timeless, but still make you say “oh, I love that!”. That’s exactly what I love about Donald Pliner. The eponymous shoe brand is known for their unique leathers, color combinations and fabrications, but every shoe is super versatile. This navy suede slip-on is extremely comfortable, and the basketweave sets it apart from your run-of-the-mill sneaker. I have owned a few pairs of navy sneakers over the years because they go just as well with a grey suit as the do with blue jeans.

With temperatures (thankfully) on the rise, I’m stocking my closet with linen for the spring. I loved how pinstripe in this linen pant and the texture of this linen jacket played off the crosshatch in the sneaker. It’s understated, but the more you look, the more detail you see.
