Look Ahead, But Live In The Now

New York Fashion Week: Men’s is officially in full swing! 

We’re all looking ahead to Fall/Winter 16’ but I’m living in post-blizzard New York now! 

Just look at that snow drift in the Meatpacking district!

Thankfully, I’m well-equipped for the cold. I partnered up with Gordon Rush to style out this amazing pair of wing tip boots for the first day of fashion week. The cognac leather is slightly worn for a dapper, but rugged feel. Of course I went full military styling with cargo pants and a suede moto.

If you’re looking to pull off slim cargos with boots, make sure your jacket doesn’t have too many exterior pockets. Pockets on pockets on pockets is not a thing.

At least I haven’t seen it on the runway this season… stay tuned in case that changes. 

Great boots only get better with time, so I’ll be wearing these long into the Spring season. I’m already picturing cropped pants, tank tops and these boots.
