Capsule wardrobe? Let's talk capsule home decor!

Mike and I are on a quest to simplify our home. We want to strip away all the extra nonsense and refine our style. So we got rid of almost everything in our bedroom and started over from scratch (full makeover post is coming soon)! These days we're really into 'rustic mid-century modern' designs, so we're embracing wood, angled legs, and as much texture as we can find. It'll be an evolution as we hunt for the perfect pieces, but I wanted to give you a snapshot of where we're at today!

It all started with the bed...

There are three main colors in my life: navy, grey and green. They make the perfect foundation for any wardrobe, but they also make a great color palette for your home. We painted our wall this jewel tone green, so it made sense to embrace cooler tones when picking out sheets. I teamed up with Brooklinen to create this navy and striped Luxe Hardcore Bundle. We played into the stripe theme with our throw pillows and blanket and tied together the brass X's in the headboard with our nightstand and lamp.
